About Elena

I have three little rascals, Avery (6)  and Clementine (4) and Ruby (<1) that I am homeschooling and a menagerie of animals including cats, dogs, and chickens.  I am a passionate supporter of Fremont County's local food movement . When I am not baking you can find me hiking, gardening, or building forts with my kids.  The magic of creating a wholesome staple for my family with simple ingredients is what nourishes my love of baking bread.

I source my ingredients as locally as possible often using organic and non-GMO.  I value the health of my family and my community and use methods of soaking, souring, and sprouting to make whole grains more easily digestible by one's body.

100% Handmade

My kitchen is bursting with children's laughter (or, let's be honest, crying!) the smell of warm bread and lots of love.  I work several days a week trying to grow my business, planning for market, and mixing, soaking, and baking bread.  I am grateful for the support my community has shown and the difference it has made for my family.
